RECIPE: Beet Bloody Mary
Beet roots contain boron, a trace mineral said to increase sex hormone levels, making them natural aphrodisiacs.
Bloody Mary Mix:
3 medium beets, peeled and cut in pieces
1 lemon peeled and cut in half
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon horseradish
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
3 ounces chilled vodka
3-4 ounces bloody mary mix
Celery stalk, garnish
Juice the beets, lemon and tomato in the Beautyjuicer. Add the rest of the Bloody Mary Mix ingredients to the juice. To make the Beet Bloody Mary, add 3 oz of chilled Vodka to a glass filled with ice. Pour over the Beet Bloody Mary Mix and garnish with a celery stick if desired.
